Ergo-Centric Health and Wellness, Inc. was founded in 2000 after 10 years of working in the medical field with work place injuries and rehabilitation. I had a strong desire to prevent the multitude of injuries I was accustom to treating through the field ergonomics... the dynamic relationship between the person AND the work environment for positive outcomes for the individual and the company.
Melody graduated from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner ...die hard fan) in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has extensive clinical experience treating psychiatric and cognitively impaired patients, aging populations, Functional Capacity evaluations, and work injury and rehabilitation.
Melody is passionate about helping workers achieve wellness before, during, and after work while supporting companies in improving employee health and productivity. She has conducted thousands of ergonomic evaluations and training sessions, implementing solutions from simple on-the-spot adjustments to complex material-handling designs. Her diverse clients include semiconductor manufacturing, offices, healthcare, warehouses, clean rooms, and home accommodations. Melody has also helped injured workers return to work, acting as a liaison between doctors, company nurses, and employees
